Vita Centre offers the following programs to serve pregnant and/or parenting youth:
Vita Youth Parent Connection This is a 12 week employability program that provides young parents with an opportunity to learn new skills in areas of: ♦ Parenting ♦Life Skills ♦Employability Participnats are paid minimum wage for attending. Financial assistance for childcare and transportation is available to those who qualify. Next session begins July 20, 2009. Register now to confirm your seat. Vita Youth Parent Connection is funded by the Government of Canada and is located at 47 Queen Street South in Mississauga (Streetsville).
Support in Community: Our community counselor is available by phone or in person to meet youth who are experiencing stress with an unplanned pregnancy. We provide: ♦Assistance to find suitable housing ♦Support during times of crisis ♦Practical supports, e.g. moving, budgeting, transportation ♦Referrals to Ontario Works, food banks and other counselling supports ♦Guidance to connect with a physician and Public Health for prenatal education Read more....

GrowingAs Parents(G.A.P.): A 12 week life skills and parenting skills program hosted at various locations across Peel Region.
