Pregnant, Parenting, Scared and Alone??

Vita Centre provides a range of services to support young women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We support young families by providing education, counseling support and resources. We offer the following programs:

Support In Community

Community Counseling Program helps pregnant and parenting youth make positive decisions for themselves and their child. The Community Counselor will assist youth in improving their physical and mental health and connect with community and necessary resources. They will assess needs and assist in setting goals to reach a better quality of life.

Our Community Counselors can help youth with:

  • Crisis counseling
  • Pre/post-natal information and education
  • Advocating on behalf of youth to obtain housing, financial support, etc.
  • Suggesting and supporting alternatives to abortion
  • Developing safety plans for those in abusive relationships
  • Assistance in finding suitable housing
  • Baby items
  • Referrals

Note: Our agency services are not limited to examples above
