We believe that our mission is best achieved by the active participation of the community. Our volunteers are our most valuable resource and they play an important role within our agency. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, some volunteer for one time special event, others make an ongoing commitment.
Committee Membership
to help build the organization (Fundrasing, Operations, Finance, Governance)
Special Events Support
help out at our special events, (Golf, Bingo, Dinner Dance, Trivia Night etc)
Office Support
assist in the administrative tasks of the agency
Client Support
provide guidance and support to a pregnant woman during and after delivery
Transportation
drive clients to appointments and workshops. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage
Housing Search
guide clients in a search for adequate and reasonable accommodations
Speakers Bureau
giving presentations in the community (schools, service groups, functions and promotional campaigns)
Skills/Educational Consultant
present a skill or activity to our youth parents. Share your expertise with clients or staff members.
Child Minding Support
Assist with child care at our life skills workshops for youth parents.
